First day.

First days..
This post basically comes after I spent my first day at Bombay Veterinary College today.
First day at school is something which most of us probably don’t remember cause we were so little back then..maybe some of us crying and not leaving our mum’s hand or some just smilingly entering our school happy on seeing others. We won’t get to relive this again..but we do get to see this when other little kids have their first day at school.
Then after 10+2 yrs, we leave this lovely institution and move to another part of our life, ‘Junior College’.

First day at my Junior college, mithibai had basically a terrible start but a lovely end. More mature then, independent sort of is what we become. I remember how I made my way to through those boys, pushing, acting rowdy, stamping each other’s feet just to see the notice board that displayed our division and roll no. Look back at it now and I laugh about how funny that scene actually was. Pretty awkward moments, wondering how to break the ice and befriend people.

Eventually got through that phase, understood how people change gradually. Wise is what one becomes through experiences, mistakes.

And now, I am here. At Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai.. for my first year. When I first walked in, I could find a part of me relating every nook and corner of this college to Mithibai. From the canteen to Library to the crowd. Felt like running back there but then, this is where I am supposed to be. To be a doctor, give that tag to my name, Dr. Karen D’silva.

Friends, till eternity.

We start with school, we move to junior college and then, it's degree. Between all this, we attend those coaching classes or private tuitions. Ofcourse, its a whole different atmosphere out here.

Its like another second home after our college. Basically, this post is dedicated to my classes friends. Spent my two years with them, almost the entire day. But now, its time to say a goodbye as everyone parts away for degree studies.

Those yells in classes, bunking lectures under the nose of the lecturer, sending non-veg messages and playing crappy games like 'BOLLYWOOD' during that chemistry lecture that we never understood. From the 5 min breaks to the half an hour breaks when we hogged on the roadside frankies and Balaji chips. Be it the pastries from Cake Basket/Monjinis or having 'chinese bhajji' and vada pav. The link-ups we created, be it within us or in front of the lecturers.

Everything is going to be missed. Everything ends here. But we've those memories for eternity.

From celebrating birthdays to festivals. We've always been together. They were the ones, who were there when I needed my friends the most.

and who says Strangers sey dosti nai karni chahiye? Dosti na karte, toh aise fatte dost kaise miltey? :D
Gavar hote hain log. :P

There is nothing such as 'which is one of your best memories?' cause you know, it is a difficult to chose one. Since all those moments we spent together, were best in one way. Be it in sorrow or happiness.

I get emotional when I talk such stuff. JeeHAAn. But chalta hai no? Aakhir, feelings ko chupa keh, there is no fayda. Yuss!

I've this bad habit of drifting away from the topic but then koi naii. ;)
For all I've to say to my classes friends, I love you till eternity.
Friends for life. :)

Just another blissful fairy tale in Dreamland

Wearing a wonderful off shoulder gown,as a bridesmaid, she entered. She wore a mask of shyness. She sat with
the other bridesmaid on the table opposite to that of the grooms. She looked extremely beautiful. Just like a
princess from a fairy tale. The toast was raised in a few minutes and as she was done sipping the wine from
her glass, she raised her eyelids just to take notice of a tall, handsome guy.

At that very moment, she felt it was her prince charming. As he looked at her, she got all nervous
spilling the wine on her dress. She hurriedly rushed to the washroom to get it cleaned. She thought, 'What a
fool I made of myself! I wonder what he must of me.' Quite embarassed, she walked through
the hall with her head down.

As she began to sit down, someone tapped her. She quickly turned to see who it was. It was HIM. He asked, 'Do you mind dancing?' She wanted to yell, 'Yes, ofcourse' but ended up saying, ' Um,.. I .. don't ..' He said, 'You'll be fine, I am there'. She was right away taken by that statement.

In the background, 'Nothing's gonna change my love for you' played. He caught her by the waist and she
placed her hand on his shoulder.

In no time, she was in his arms and her eyes closed. Music was halted and everyone were applauding. She opened her eyes and she almost, pushed him away. He asked, ' Err, hey. Are you alright?' She hesitantly replied, 'yeah, I hope so. I gotta go'. She ran away to her makeup room. Still wondering what happened. Though nothing much happened.

There was a knock on the door. It was HIM again. She asked nervously, 'Um, yes?' 'Can I come in for a sec?' he asked. There was silence in the room. She was leaning on the wall and he was seated on the chair. Not knowing what to speak, he got up and spoke his heart out.

'I love you'. There was a moment of silence again. He then said, 'I think I should leave. I'm sorry' and started to walk away. She caught him by his hand and said, 'I love you too'.

He neared her. Stared for a sec and with their eyes closed, they were almost about to kiss..
that it was her alarm that rang and her dream had ended.

A smile she wore all throughout the day. :)
